Nanowrimo, Final - 51,049
I did it! I always thought a novel would be tough...but it was easier than most short stories I've written. Heck, I'm going to start another one next month!

I'm glad I stuck with it until the end this year. My writing during the last half of the month was much different (much easier?) than the first half of the month. I think I learned a lot, and now when I am reading a book I look at it differently. I would definitely suggest to anyone even remotely interested in writing for the halibut to try nanowrimo next year. Nanowrimo 2009 or bust!
PS: last night I dreamed an ending for my story. It's very anti-climatic but after the shit I put my main character through I think it fits. I am going to wrap up my story in the next day or two, and it will pass the 50k word mark. And if you ever want to read it, just let me know. I swear it's amazingly awful!!!
