Michael's Texas Embrace

as i recall, the dr wiley music in mm2 was the best. airman and woodman also had good music, though i say this primarily because these are the ones i remember listening to most often: i have them all in mp3 on my old computer. i'll drag it out this weekend and have a relisten, so i can make a more qualified judgement here on michael's texas embrace. but really, i'm almost certain it's the dr wiley music.

does it need to be said that mm2 had the best music, overall? i don't suppose it does, but i say it:
 

Hey! You should put links up to all the midi files of all the different music from Mega Man II! I can't remember all those wonderful tunes! Who do you think I am? An all-encompassing rememberer of wonderful tunes???

I do remember liking the music from that cloud level... is that Mega Man II? And I may not have made it all the way to Dr. Wiley. I'm so uninformed.
 

hey, everyone made it to dr wiley in megaman 2. it was the best megaman. and also sort of easy.
 

it just came back to me! the first dr wily stage, i have it singing in my head right now! definitely the best.

Okay, I listened to all the MM2 songs, and am ready to make an informed vote: Metal Man's stage. That one is the best. I give Wood Man's stage the runner up vote, though I do agree that the first Dr. Wiley level's music was good too. Air Man's music sucked! What was I thinking?

And, for arguement's sake, I'm going to state that Ninja Gaiden II had the best music of ANY game for the original Nintendo. Hands down, the best.
 

I have to say, the best is Dr. Wiley's first stage. How badass is that? It's superbad.

I put up this poll because I downloaded a cover of the Wiley music by this band called "The Advantage" that does nintendo covers, and I was telling Maggie that Wiley's stage totally had the best music and that this band had done a rocking version of my favorite song from Mega Man 2, and she was all like "who would have a favorite song from a video game? Nobody but you." And I says, call your brother and ask him out of the blue what the best song from Mega Man 2 is. He'll say it was Wiley's stage. We called but no one answered, so I blogged it. I was right!
